About Me

I am a multidisciplinary researcher specializing in the biophysical and biochemical characterization of membrane proteins and lipid membranes. Driven by a passion for advancing scientific knowledge, I aim to contribute to improving human health and well-being through innovative research.

As a first-generation international student from Sri Lanka, coming from a lower socio-economic background and a non-traditional career path, I am also deeply committed to supporting students from diverse backgrounds in pursuing scientific careers. Inspired by the mentorship I have received, I strive to give back through meaningful research and guidance, fostering the next generation of scientists.
